The Arabia Steamboat sank in Missouri river in 1856. No lives were lost but the steamboat completely sank into the river until it was recovered in 1988 in a cornfield a half a mile from where the river now flows. The items were preserved by the mud and many are in great shape. There is a lot to see at the museum including China, clothing, toys, and much more all from the 1850s.

Kansas City Zoo

Founded in 1909, the Kansas City zoo is the perfect blend with nature. There is a variety of wildlife to see at the zoo and lots to learn here.
